The Ohio trip

Well, we did it....and made it there and back all still alive and sane (well, half)! :) My sister, Angela, and I rented a van and drove to Ohio with our 5 kids (yes, that's right...we are crazy...15 hours one way). We went up for my mom's family reunion. We had a great time visiting with our grandpa, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It's always so nice to see each other and "catch up" with one another. On, Monday, we all went to a farm for a picnic. The kids got to ride horses, and see some farm animals while we were there too. Thanks Aunt Thelma and grandpa for treating us to that!!!

My sister is engaged!

My baby sister, Amber got engaged over the weekend. Nate proposed to her while they were on a pontoon boat they rented for the day on Saturday. She is excited....and we are too. The kids are looking forward to calling him UNCLE Nate instead of MR. Nate!! :) Meet Nate....

The pool is done

The pool is done and we are now swimming in it. Here are some pictures.

Baby kittens!

Amber's cat, Roxy, had 6 kittens yesterday morning. They are so cute and tiny! The kids love going over there to see them. We already have homes for 3 of them, so there are 3 left! Let us know if you want one! They can go at 8 weeks.

The construction of our pool

We started the pool process last Wednesday, and are being told it should be ready to swim in by this Sunday! We are excited, and are looking forward to having you all over for some pool fun (that's for you, Amber). Here are some pictures.

Missing my camera

Well, my camera is MIA now for about 4 weeks. I have looked everywhere for it, and just can't find it, so I won't have any new pictures to include in this blog (but will add some old pictures for your enjoyment).

After months of planning and thinking about it, we have decided to...get a pool! We are excited to have it for this summer, and are looking forward to having many of you over for some swim days! The completed date should be around June 8th. YEAH! :) Hope you all have a good week.
